To realize their mission of providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality care nationwide, they needed to hire providers across the country that shared their passion for women’s healthcare, and partner with regional and national health plans to ensure their services were covered by insurance.
The Challenge
Following their first year of consumer availability, Midi Health secured their Series A funding in the fall of 2023 to support their goal of expanding clinician availability to all 50 states by January 2024. But building out such an expansive network within a narrow time frame felt nearly impossible with the resources they had at their disposal.
Midi Health relies primarily on nurse practitioners – whose scope of practice varies widely from state to state – to deliver care, which meant they also had to hire physicians to fulfill state-specific regulations surrounding collaborative agreements. But improving accessibility was just half of their mission; their services also needed to be affordable. For Midi Health, this required supporting four of the major health plans in all 50 states to provide reimbursable care everywhere. Gaining NCQA accreditation was essential both in the near-term and for setting up future delegation agreements.
The Solution

The Results
Revitalizing and scaling Midi Health’s credentialing process gave their team the momentum they needed to expand health insurance partnerships nationwide, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Health Net, and more. By integrating a fully automated solution for credentialing and regulatory compliance management, they were able to grow their provider network to serve patients in all 50 states and reduce credentialing turnaround times to just 1-2 days – all with full confidence that they met the necessary state-by-state requirements.
